Loving God Through Media / Communications
The Media Discipleship Training School (DTS) provides for you an opportunity to know God and make Him known through video development and production, web creation and design, photography, and writing. The program is about communicating the love of God through digital media...
offering a personal opportunity for you to connect with God in a unique, dynamic and transformational way. The training will challenge your personal application of the truth, and how it affects your life.
You will have the opportunity to learn basic media skills through digital film, internet, scriptwriting and other means of communication as well as completing short media projects as part of the curriculum. You will learn from industry professionals, and be given a chance to work with a team of fellow students and instructors to create with God while exploring skillful tools to truly hear God’s voice, and grow in your relationship with Him so you can gain His heart for a world in need.
It is a place of learning, and applying, biblical principles so that we can impact our surrounding communities, as well as society, through the powerful tool of media. It is also an ideal place for you to grow and strengthen your faith, skills, and love for God. The training program will spotlight issues of worldview, creativity, and Christ-like communication.
The Media DTS is a residential training program that is situated in a place where culture and legend are alive thereby inspiring you to discover the beauty of creating with God in producing work that matter. You will experience lots of fun activities and community life, as well as opportunities to visit remote villages, and hike over the mountains and rainforest.
